Amendment to the Monograph for Active Ingredient C55—Copper-Based Compounds in the List of Active Ingredients for Pesticides, Pest-Control Sanitizers and Wood Preservatives

This instrument applies to entities applying for, registering or managing active ingredients for pesticides, pest-control sanitizers and wood preservatives in Brazil. It amends the C55 copper-based compounds monograph in the Annex to Normative Instruction No. 103 of 2021 by adding subitem C55.7, tribasic copper sulfate. This active ingredient is an inorganic copper-based fungicide and bactericide. Its monograph specifies regulatory information including the active ingredient name, synonyms, CAS number, chemical name, molecular formula, chemical group, use class and toxicological classification, and lists foliar application on various crops and ornamental plants; copper residue levels must comply with applicable food contaminant legislation.
