This standard specifies product requirements for catalysts used in the oxidation of ethylene to produce ethylene oxide and applies to the production, testing, and quality control of such chemical catalysts. Relevant manufacturers and testing institutions shall conduct product quality evaluations in accordance with the standard, ensure that catalysts meet the prescribed technical indicators and testing requirements, and establish corresponding testing and quality-control measures. This is a newly established chemical industry product standard applicable to product management and supply-and-acceptance inspection of catalysts used in ethylene oxide production.
