Compressed Natural Gas as Vehicle Fuel

This standard applies to compressed natural gas products used as vehicle fuel and specifies their quality and technical requirements. Entities engaged in natural gas production, purification, refuelling, sale, and vehicle fuel supply shall ensure that products comply with the standard and conduct quality control and testing as required. This is a mandatory national standard that fully replaces GB 18047-2017. Compressed natural gas products for vehicles previously subject to the former standard shall be produced, supplied, and used in accordance with the new requirements.
