Drain Cover Pad for Dangerous Goods Spillage
Abstract
This standard applies to the design and manufacture of drain cover pads for dangerous goods spillage and does not directly prescribe operating procedures for on-site users. Products shall be reusable and rapidly deployable without auxiliary materials, and shall maintain performance within the specified service temperature range and throughout a design service life of no less than three years. Materials shall be compatible with the physicochemical properties of the applicable dangerous goods and enable rapid sealing of drainage openings to prevent spilled goods from entering underground drainage facilities or confined spaces. The standard specifies structural requirements including a rubber surface layer, a fabric intermediate layer and a polyurethane bottom layer, and classifies products into Types A, B, C and D by chemical resistance and into ordinary and flame-retardant types by flame resistance. Manufacturers shall specify the applicable media, concentrations and conditions for Type D products, conduct required inspections of appearance, dimensions, physical properties, chemical resistance and sealing performance, and provide information on use, marking, packaging and storage.
