Environmental management—Quantitative environmental information—Guidelines and examples

This standard applies to organizations that prepare, use and evaluate quantitative environmental information, providing guidelines and examples for the quantitative expression, interpretation and communication of environmental data and information in environmental management activities. It is identical to ISO 14033:2019 and applies to the determination, processing, presentation and use of quantitative information related to environmental performance, environmental impacts, resource consumption and pollutant emissions. Organizations should ensure that such information is relevant, complete, consistent, accurate, transparent and traceable, and should describe data sources, calculation methods, assumptions, uncertainties and limitations of use to support environmental claims, reporting, decision-making and communication with interested parties.
