General Technical Specification of Face Conveyor

This document applies to face conveyors used in underground coal mine faces with mining chains as traction chains, as well as other conveying equipment using chains as traction chains. Manufacturers shall produce equipment in accordance with approved drawings and technical documents, ensure safe and reliable connections with hydraulic supports, coal mining machinery and electrical equipment, and provide mechanical and electrical overload protection, start-up warning, limiting and emergency stop devices along the conveyor. Supporting electrical components shall meet explosion-protection requirements and obtain explosion-proof certificates and mining product safety mark certificates. Fluid couplings shall use flame-resistant fluid or water and be fitted with overtemperature and overpressure protection. The document also specifies requirements for structure, performance, testing, inspection, marking, packaging, transport and storage.
