Green Product Assessment—Electric Bicycle

This standard applies to green product assessment of electric bicycles and is intended for electric bicycle manufacturers and relevant assessment and certification bodies. Based on green attributes including resources, energy, environment and quality, it sets assessment requirements for product design, raw-material use, manufacturing processes, energy and resource consumption, pollutant control, product performance, safety and quality, and recycling and recovery. It guides manufacturers to reduce environmental impacts throughout the product life cycle, improve resource and energy efficiency, and provides a technical basis for green product certification and procurement.
