Hazard Classification of Pyrotechnics for Fireworks
Abstract
This document applies to the hazard classification and grading of pyrotechnics for fireworks. Based on the likelihood of accidents and the severity of consequences during manufacturing, transportation and other processes, hazards are divided into sensitivity and hazard degree, each classified into five grades. Sensitivity shall be individually scored and comprehensively graded through impact, friction, ignition-temperature and electrostatic-spark sensitivity tests. Hazard degree shall be scored and comprehensively graded based on combustion-speed and calorific-value test results. The document specifies test conditions, procedures, instrument calibration, result calculation and test-report requirements for determining the hazard classification and grade of pyrotechnics.
