Jiangsu Province Implementation Rules for Product Quality Supervision Spot Checks of Automotive Gasoline Detergents (2026 Edition)

This document applies to quality supervision spot-check testing of automotive gasoline detergents produced by manufacturers, sold in physical stores, or offered through e-commerce platforms in Jiangsu Province. Samples are selected randomly; two samples totaling no less than 700 mL are taken from each batch and divided into a test sample and a reserve sample. Testing covers pour point, closed-cup flash point, sulfur content, chlorine content, rust-prevention performance or degree of corrosion, demulsibility, and simulated intake-valve deposit mass, with GB 19592-2019 serving as the basis for determination. Products pass where all tested items comply; failure of any item results in a non-compliance determination. Where declared quality requirements differ from standards, determinations are made according to mandatory standard requirements or the declared product requirements, as applicable.
