Jiangsu Province Implementation Rules for Product Quality Supervision Spot Checks of Electric Vehicle Coolants (2026 Edition)

These rules apply to product quality supervision spot-check testing of electric vehicle coolants sold by manufacturers, physical stores, and e-commerce platforms in Jiangsu Province. Sampling is conducted randomly, with one test sample and one reserve sample taken from each batch, generally no less than 4 kg or 4 L each. Testing covers appearance, colour, odour, density, freezing point, boiling point, pH, electrical conductivity, chloride content, sulfate content, boron content, static corrosion, rubber-material compatibility, and foaming tendency. A product is deemed to have no nonconformity where all tested items pass; failure of any item results in a nonconforming determination. Where declared quality requirements differ from applicable standards, determinations shall be made in accordance with mandatory standards and the relevant declared quality requirements.
