Jiangsu Province Implementation Rules for Product Quality Supervision Spot Checks of Wood Coatings (2026 Edition)

Applicable to product quality supervision spot checks of wood coatings at the production stage in Jiangsu Province, covering solvent-borne polyurethane, nitrocellulose and alkyd wood coatings, moisture-cured polyurethane coatings, and waterborne wood coatings for interior decoration. It specifies sampling by product category and component, and testing against relevant national, industry and declared quality standards for VOCs, benzene-series substances, halogenated hydrocarbons, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, glycol ethers and ether esters, free diisocyanates, formaldehyde, APEO, heavy metals and resistance properties. Any failed test item results in a determination that the product is non-compliant; where declared quality requirements conflict with mandatory standards, mandatory standards apply.
