Legislative Notice of the Partial Amendment to the Rules on Restrictions on Employment in Hazardous and Dangerous Work

The draft revises employment qualification restrictions for harmful and hazardous work and applies to workers and employers engaged in specified hazardous operations. It adds manual logging of trees with a diameter at breast height of 20 cm or more to work requiring qualifications, requiring workers to hold forest management technician qualifications; clarifies the title and scope of high-voltage-or-higher de-energized and live-line work; and updates the names of national technical qualifications for welding, casting, railway electrical signaling, steel structures, piping, formwork, scaffolding, diving, and cargo-handling equipment operation. A transitional arrangement is provided for existing logging workers: persons with at least three months of logging experience who complete logging training by November 30, 2027, are deemed qualified for logging work.
