Guidelines for the Establishment of the Ministry of Environment Product Carbon Footprint Management Review Committee
Abstract
This applies to the Ministry of Environment's work on promoting the product carbon footprint system and related review and management matters. The Ministry establishes a Product Carbon Footprint Management Review Committee to supervise product carbon footprint policies, graded labeling and incentive measures, coordinate promotion among ministries, and review, place on record, or provide consultation on related matters. The Committee consists of 11 to 15 members, with experts and scholars accounting for no less than half and subject to gender-ratio requirements. It may establish project teams to review applications for approval and revision of product carbon footprint category rules and special cases involving product carbon footprint determination. Members must recuse themselves where statutory grounds, conflicts of interest, or circumstances affecting impartial performance exist.
