Plastics—Polyether polyols for use in the production of polyurethane—Part 3: Determination of hydroxyl number

This standard applies to the determination of hydroxyl number in polyether polyols for use in polyurethane production and provides a methodological basis for relevant raw-material producers, polyurethane product manufacturers, and testing laboratories. It adopts a technical approach that is not equivalent to ISO 14900:2023 and specifies technical requirements for determining the hydroxyl number of polyether polyols, for evaluating hydroxyl group content and related quality characteristics. Relevant entities shall conduct sample testing, result calculation, and quality control in accordance with the prescribed method to ensure the accuracy and comparability of test results. This standard fully replaces GB/T 12008.3-2009.
