Plastics—Determination of environmental stress cracking (ESC) of polyethylene—Full-notch creep test (FNCT)
Abstract
This standard specifies a method for determining the environmental stress cracking performance of polyethylene by means of the full-notch creep test. It applies to the evaluation and related testing of the resistance of polyethylene materials to environmental stress cracking. As a recommended national test-method standard, it modifies and adopts ISO 16770:2019 and fully replaces GB/T 32682-2016. Relevant manufacturers, material research institutions and testing bodies may use this standard to conduct full-notch creep tests on polyethylene specimens and obtain environmental stress cracking performance test results.
