Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell—Part 9: Test Method for Vibration
Abstract
This document specifies vibration test requirements and methods for proton exchange membrane fuel cell power generation systems. It applies to fuel cell power generation systems for road vehicles and to systems protected by packaging vibration-reduction measures during road transport; other types of systems may refer to it. Before testing, appearance, hydrogen-flow-path and overall gas tightness, insulation resistance, and operating power shall be checked; assembly, fastener torque records, and anti-loosening markings shall meet specified requirements. The document specifies requirements for the test environment, vibration table, and measurement system, as well as random-vibration conditions and a method for calculating test duration based on transport distance. After testing, appearance, gas tightness, insulation resistance, and operating power shall be rechecked. Where gas-tightness or insulation checks fail, operating-power checks shall not be conducted, and test reports and records shall be prepared.
