Abstract
This standard applies to recovered and classified lead and lead alloy materials, covering three categories: recovered lead-acid batteries, pure lead articles and lead alloys, and lead ash and lead slag. Materials shall be recovered by category and grade, and materials of different groups and grades shall not be mixed. Except for intact lead-acid batteries, materials shall meet the specified lead-content grading requirements. Materials shall not contain flammable or explosive articles, sealed or pressure vessels, legally regulated hazardous substances, other scrap, or visible inclusions. Intact lead-acid batteries shall have undamaged casings without acid leakage and shall be collected through self-operated, joint, or entrusted collection networks; unauthorized dismantling, crushing, or discarding during collection, transport, and storage is prohibited. Suppliers or third parties shall conduct inspections and provide accompanying documents, and each batch shall be labelled with its name, grade, batch number, and batch weight.
