Recycling and Waste Reduction (Fees) Rules 2020 (2026 Consolidated Revised Version)

The Rules apply to administrators of voluntary arrangements applying for accreditation or variation of accreditation under the Recycling and Waste Reduction Act 2020. They prescribe fee amounts, payment times and liable persons for accreditation applications, applications to vary accreditation and related regulatory functions; late payment attracts penalties. For accredited voluntary arrangements, the responsible authority may remit or refund fees and penalties in prescribed circumstances, and review mechanisms are available for relevant decisions. The Rules support the accreditation administration of product stewardship and voluntary waste-reduction arrangements through fee arrangements.
