Resistance Welding Machine—Safety Requirements

This standard applies to the safe design, manufacture and installation of resistance welding machines and is relevant to manufacturers, installers and users of such machines. As a mandatory national standard, it requires relevant equipment to meet safety requirements in order to control risks arising during operation, installation and use. The standard is a modified adoption of IEC 62135-1:2015 and fully replaces GB 15578-2008, Safety Requirements for Resistance Welding Machines. Relevant entities should conduct product design, manufacture, installation and safety conformity management in accordance with the new standard to ensure that resistance welding equipment meets the prescribed safety requirements.
