Rotating electrical machines—Efficiency classes (IE-code)—Part 3: High voltage AC motors

This standard applies to the efficiency classification of high-voltage AC motors. It specifies energy-efficiency classes expressed by IE codes and related classification requirements, providing a uniform basis for motor manufacture, selection, testing and energy-efficiency evaluation. Relevant manufacturers, testing bodies, purchasers and users should design, manufacture, test, mark and evaluate applicable products in accordance with the specified efficiency classes. This standard is identical to IEC 60034-30-3:2024 and is a recommended national standard.
