Safety Specification for Equipment Maintenance in Chemical Enterprises

This standard applies to equipment maintenance management in chemical enterprises, including petrochemical, coal chemical and fine chemical enterprises, and specifies safety requirements for pre-maintenance preparation, maintenance process management, urgent repairs, and post-maintenance handover. Enterprises shall establish maintenance systems and plans; manage the admission, training and safety agreements of external maintenance contractors; identify hazardous and harmful factors; prepare and review maintenance plans; and implement shutdown, depressurization, cleaning and purging, replacement, energy isolation and site inspections. Maintenance involving special operations, storage tanks, special equipment or radioactive sources shall comply with relevant standards. Upon completion, safety facilities shall be restored, the site cleaned, and maintenance quality, testing and commissioning, restoration of isolation measures and other matters confirmed compliant before handover.
