Soil quality—Determination of available lead and cadmium contents in soils
Abstract
This standard specifies a method for determining available lead and cadmium contents in soils and applies to the testing and evaluation of lead and cadmium extractable from soil samples by specified extractants. Relevant testing laboratories, soil environmental monitoring bodies, and entities conducting agricultural land soil quality surveys, risk assessments, and pollution remediation shall carry out sample preparation, extraction, instrumental determination, and quality control in accordance with the prescribed method to ensure accurate and comparable results. As a test method standard, it fully replaces GB/T 23739-2009, Soil quality—Determination of available lead and cadmium—Atomic absorption spectrometry; testing shall be conducted under the new standard after its implementation.
