Technical Requirements for Green Procurement, Storage and Packaging of Steel Industry Products

This standard applies to green management of procurement, storage and packaging activities for steel industry products, covering steel product manufacturers, purchasers, warehousing service providers and packaging-related entities. It sets technical requirements for green procurement, green storage and green packaging, with the aim of promoting preference for products and services with green attributes in procurement, strengthening resource conservation, pollution prevention and environmental management in storage, and reducing packaging material consumption and environmental impacts while promoting the recycling of packaging materials. Relevant entities should establish corresponding management measures in light of product characteristics and business processes to improve the greening of the steel industry supply chain.
