Technical Requirements for Painting and Anti-corrosion of Building Material Equipment (Draft for Comments)

Applicable to surface coating of building material equipment and components, including cement, glass and ceramic machinery; parts in contact with concrete, enclosed box interiors, machined mating surfaces, stainless-steel parts and parts whose performance would be affected are excluded. It requires rust removal, degreasing and surface preparation as specified; coating systems, thicknesses and colours shall be determined according to corrosion environments, and welding blind areas, bolted joint surfaces, and damage incurred during transport and installation shall receive anti-corrosion treatment or repair. Coating operations shall comply with ventilation and safety management requirements, as well as limits on noise, exhaust gas, wastewater and hazardous substances in coatings. Coating suppliers shall provide certificates of conformity and test reports, and coating appearance, adhesion, thickness and heat resistance shall be inspected as specified.
