Women's Suits and Coats

This standard applies to women's suits and coats made primarily from woven fabrics such as pure wool, wool blends and interwoven fabrics, and imitation wool fabrics; it does not apply to infant garments for children aged 36 months and below. Manufacturers shall provide instructions for use as required and ensure compliance with requirements for sizing, raw materials and accessories safety, warp and weft direction, pattern matching, joining, colour difference, appearance, sewing, dimensional tolerances and pressing quality, as well as physicochemical indicators including alkylphenols and alkylphenol ethoxylates, colour fastness and crease resistance. Products shall be sampled, inspected and graded as specified, and comply with requirements for marking, packaging, transport and storage.
