Specifications for Accidents Prevention Service on Work Safety Liability Insurance—Part 2: Metallurgy

This document applies to accident prevention services for insured entities under work safety liability insurance in the metallurgy sector. Insurance institutions shall provide safety publicity, education and training, risk identification and assessment, occupational safety standardization system development, accident hazard inspections, emergency plan preparation and rescue drills, as well as promotion of safety technologies and equipment in accordance with the general requirements. Services shall focus on risks including leakage of high-temperature molten metal and explosions caused by contact with water, furnace refractory burn-through, cooling-water leakage, gas leakage and poisoning, coal-powder dust explosions, confined-space poisoning and asphyxiation, and failures of pressure vessels and pipelines, while assisting in improving emergency facilities, supplies, equipment and firefighting apparatus.
