Announcement on Adjusting the Catalogue for the Administration of the Export of Precursor Chemicals to Specified Countries (Regions)

This Announcement applies to exporters of chemicals listed in Part I of the Catalogue to the United States, Mexico and Canada, and exporters of chemicals listed in Part II to Myanmar, Laos and Afghanistan. Such exports must be licensed in accordance with the Interim Provisions on the Administration of the Export of Precursor Chemicals to Specified Countries (Regions); exports to other countries (regions) do not require a licence. This adjustment adds methyl 1-phenethyl-4-oxo-3-piperidinecarboxylate and ethyl 1-phenethyl-4-oxo-3-piperidinecarboxylate to Part I. Commodity names prevail, while customs commodity codes are for customs declaration reference only; possible salts of the 18 substances in Part I are also controlled.
