Draft Amendment to the Regulation on Prescribed Quantities of Hazardous Chemicals

This amendment applies to entities subject to hazardous chemical quantity management under Articles 19, 23, 27 and 29 of the Enforcement Rule of the Chemicals Control Act. It proposes prescribed quantities for 38 newly designated hazardous chemicals in Appendix 2: 18 are calculated under general hazard-group criteria, while 20 are subject to specific criteria reflecting small-quantity thresholds and physicochemical hazards. It also establishes prescribed quantities for seven low-diffusion substances. The amendment further proposes corrections to the names, CAS numbers, hazard classifications or quantity values of five existing substances and refines the wording on maximum holding quantities in Article 4.
