General Requirements for Green Production of Aquaculture

This standard applies to green production in pond and industrial aquaculture in Shanghai; aquaculture in Shanghai-administered areas outside the municipality may implement it by reference, while effluent discharge shall comply with local requirements. Aquaculture operators shall meet requirements for sites, water sources, facilities and equipment, and standardize seed procurement and quarantine, water-quality testing, feed administration, disease prevention and control, and harmless treatment. Effluent reuse, discharge and waste disposal shall comply with relevant standards. Operators shall establish production procedures, training, recordkeeping, sales-record and quality-traceability systems, retain vouchers for seed, feed and medicines and records of the entire production process, and keep paper records for at least two years.
