Implementation Rules for Guangdong Province Product Quality Supervision and Random Inspection of Motor Vehicle Engine Coolants (2026 Edition)

This document applies to product quality supervision and random inspections in Guangdong Province of engine coolants for fuel-powered, electric, and fuel-cell vehicles. Sampling shall be conducted randomly from products offered for sale by producers and sellers; two portions of no less than 4 kg or 4 L each shall be taken per batch, while sampling of large packages or finished-product tanks shall follow SH/T 0065—1991. Tests cover density, freezing point, boiling point, pH, corrosion, and foaming tendency, as well as electrical conductivity and static corrosion for electric- and fuel-cell-vehicle coolants. Products shall be assessed against the applicable mandatory standards, declared quality requirements, and applicable enterprise, association, and local standards; failure of any test item results in a determination of nonconformity.
