Guidelines for Green Evaluation of Steel Slag Treatment and Processing
Abstract
This standard applies to green evaluation of steel slag treatment and processing, covering molten steel slag cooling treatment and processing activities such as crushing, screening, rod milling and magnetic separation. Evaluated enterprises shall meet basic requirements on safety, quality, environmental protection, creditworthiness and synchronized operation of pollution-control facilities, and shall not use open-air hot-splash treatment or obsolete equipment; pollutant emissions shall comply with current standards. Evaluation indicators cover low-carbon energy use, resource efficiency, clean production and green products. Basic requirements are subject to a veto mechanism; mandatory indicators are scored and optional indicators receive bonus points. Comprehensive evaluation uses a 6:4 weighting of treatment and processing scores. Evaluation reports shall state evidence verification, scores, conclusions and improvement recommendations.
