Abstract

This document applies to entities involved in the manufacture, import and sale of dehumidifiers using a motor-driven vapour-compression refrigeration cycle, and excludes fresh-air dehumidifiers and dual-cooling-source dehumidifiers. It establishes three energy-efficiency grades according to rated dehumidification capacity and air-cooled or water-cooled condensation methods, with Grade 1 being the highest. The dehumidification capacity per unit power consumption shall meet the applicable grade indicator and shall not fall below the Grade 3 minimum allowable value. Standby-power limits are specified for products with different dehumidification capacities and communication or sensor configurations, and tolerances are prescribed for rated energy efficiency and measured dehumidification capacity. Testing shall follow GB/T 19411. Products manufactured or imported before implementation shall comply from the 24th month after implementation.
