Abstract

Applicable to water-cooled, air-cooled and hybrid refrigerating systems in public buildings that use electrically driven vapor-compression chillers as air-conditioning cooling sources; thermal-storage air-conditioning systems are excluded. Systems shall adopt performance-oriented design and incorporate high-efficiency equipment, low-resistance distribution, monitoring and control, and operation and maintenance measures, with requirements for equipment efficiency, water quality, commissioning and data collection. Performance is classified into three grades based on annual operational energy efficiency ratio: 6.0, 5.5 and 5.0 for water-cooled systems, and 4.1, 3.6 and 3.1 for air-cooled systems; hybrid systems are calculated according to cooling-load proportions. Testing shall verify sensors, data completeness and accuracy, and conduct typical-condition performance testing and heat-balance checks.
