Renewable Energy (Amendment of Schedule) Order 2026

This Order applies to persons applying for or operating biogas, biomass and small hydropower renewable energy installations under the Renewable Energy Act 2011. It amends the Schedule to the Act concerning qualifying installations and feed-in tariff arrangements for those renewable resources. For biogas installations of up to and including 30 MW and above 30 MW, the rates for the first ten years and the remaining period are RM0.3015 and RM0.2515–RM0.3015 per kWh, respectively; for biomass, RM0.3800 and RM0.2880–RM0.3800; and for small hydropower, RM0.3400 and RM0.2700–RM0.3400. The effective period for each category is 21 years, with an annual degression rate of 0%.
