Technical Requirements for Recycling of Copper Ore Dressing Wastewater (Draft for Comments)
Abstract
This document applies to wastewater recycling at copper ore dressing plants using flotation processes. Enterprises are required to establish reuse systems based on classified collection, segregated treatment, clean-water and wastewater separation, and cascading use; the return-water utilization rate should not be lower than 85%. Tailings, concentrate wastewater, stockyard leachate, laboratory wastewater, cooling water, and initial rainwater shall be treated and reused by category. Reclaimed water shall meet specified control requirements for pH, COD, ammonia nitrogen, total nitrogen, total phosphorus, and relevant heavy metals. Enterprises shall also establish operating, monitoring, emergency response, and sludge disposal systems; non-compliant effluent shall be returned to the treatment station for process adjustment.
