Textiles—Determination of Photoinitiator 907 and Photoinitiator 369
Abstract
This standard applies to the determination of photoinitiator 907 and photoinitiator 369 in all types of textile products. Testing laboratories shall cut and homogenize representative samples, weigh 1.0 g, ultrasonically extract them with acetonitrile for 30 minutes, filter the extracts, and conduct qualitative analysis and external-standard quantification by high-performance liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. Identification shall verify retention times and relative abundances of characteristic ions; quantification shall use calibration curves, and sample solutions exceeding the linear range shall be diluted before analysis. The limit of quantification for both substances is 0.3 mg/kg. Results shall be reported separately to one decimal place, and results below the limit of quantification shall be reported as not detected.
